Ok, I must admit that I have done most of my Christmas shopping already.... online. I'm not a big "Black Friday" person. I don't enjoy the crowds at the mall. I LOVE sitting by the fireplace on my laptop ordering gifts from amazon.com. I always try to find items that are eligible for free shipping, so I don't have to spend an arm and a leg on it. The hardest part about Christmas shopping, in my opinion, is finding the right gifts for each person. I thought it would be fun to discuss gift ideas this week. I cannot think of a great gift for my dad... any ideas? No more socks, ties or photos of the kids... I need a cool new idea! If you need help finding a gift, just let us know the age and sex of the person, and maybe we can help. Looking forward to hearing from you...

Any ideas for a 10 year old boy?
I have two boys, 8 and 12 and would suggest any of the following:
* Lego castles, planes, etc. If your son likes chess, they make a very cool Lego chess set.
* Sports balls. It doesn't matter how many footballs, soccer balls or basketballs they have, they can always use more! Mine also love the mini-size sports balls, which leads to numerous scoldings when they kick and throw them in the house.
* Whoonu? (Cranium game) Both boys love it - it's great for all ages. They also like Rummikub, which is a fun numbers game. If your son likes cards, try the game Set, which I can never win in my own house. The dog could probably beat me.
Have fun shopping!
For your dad- computer games are always great, a good book or old movies on dvd along with a blanket of his favorite sports team. Just a few ideas.
For the 10 year old boy, they have a lego chess computer game that my boys love to play.
Has anyone heard of a Ben 10 alien watch? My son wants it and I don't know what it is or if it is appropriate for him. Let me know if you have seen one. Thanks,Jen
Hi Jen. From what I've read, I think the "Ben 10 alien watch" is a video game kids wear like a watch. It's based on a TV show & is sold on amazon.com.
Here's what one review says:
Introducing the new "Ben 10 Deluxe Omnitrix". This Omnitrx has a cool LCD screen that shows all of Ben's alien heroes from the hit TV series. Simply twist the dial on the watch and you'll see your favorite characters and play cool games on it, too. Just a simple game or two involving skill, speed, and collecting a lot of points to win.
If this is the kind of toy your child enjoys, it sounds appropriate for his age.
Hey guys!
Thanks so much I found it on Amazon! I am almost done with my shopping. :)
